This past weekend was the Energy Fair in Custer, Wisconsin. Dad has been showing his Ethanol Buggy there for the last two years - last year I missed it because I was out west, so this year I was pretty psyched when I was able to get there yesterday. Picked up my friend Ethan and we got to the fair by 9:30ish... and then we proceeded to spend the whole day there. Seriously. The place opened at like 9 and closed at 5. We were there until at least 4:30. It was pouring rain most of the day, and I was kind of cold and wet and the food court was a giant mud puddle, but I still had a blast. I even got in free because Dad was displaying, and I spent less that $15 or the entire day (aside from gas). $7 for a very tasty Indian Taco for lunch and $5ish for one of the homemade soaps that made my whole car smell kind of awesome on the way back home.
