HA! Take that, all you who think every Wisconsinite and Minnesotan is supposed to sound like they're from Fargo! Cause, like, the majority of us? Kinda hate that movie and the stereo type it left us all with. Though I will admit that my next door neighbor does, in fact, sound pretty much exactly like they do in Fargo.
Cor blimey, I taste like Tea.
I am a subtle flavour, quiet and polite, gentle, almost ambient. My presence in crowds will often go unnoticed. Best not to spill me on your clothes though, I can leave a nasty stain. What Flavour Are You?
And, considering exactly *how much* of the stuff I consume, I would not be at all surprised if I do, in fact, taste like tea. You all be sure to let me know next time you lick me, alrighty? ;)
In the year 2006 I resolve to:
Involving dancing goats in sequins. Because if you're gonna start a cult, you may as well do it in style. ;)
In the year 2006 I resolve to:
Which will also be dancing and wearing sequins. Yes yes, there shall be dancing goats and rubber ducks wearing sequins!
In the year 2006 I resolve to:
First a small country, and then THE WORLD!
NOTHING SHALL DEFETE MY SEQUINED, DANCING ARMY OF CUTE ANIMALS!
(Why yes, I am tired and a bit sleep deprived, how'd you guess?)
( Because I'm nice )
Think that's enough for now. I'm also gonna remind ya'll one more time that holiday card requests are still open. I'm going to try and get them out next week sometime, so if you want one and for some odd reason haven't already asked (even if you think I have your address from last year yet, because I don't... I kinda sorta lost the sheet of paper I had them all written on), you got few more days to add your own comment to the ten or so that are already there.
(people I already have are: Carla, John, Vaidah, Kate, Dawn, Nicole, Leo, Becca, Verena, Emma, Jenn, and Emmies. If you're not one of them and you want a card from me, a snail mail address would come in right handy, doncha know. ;) Comments are screened in both this post and in that one, so no fear of any psycho internet stalkers - hopefully, at least. :D )
::ignores the fact that she's skip=250 on her friends list, still hasn't signed up for classes for fall semester and hasn't applied for financial aid yet, bought plane tickets to Germany yet, or cleaned her room in over a year::
These are all taken from the same sight, which in my expierence, was blessedly pop-up free if that bothers anyone (I know the whole pop up thing bothers the hell out of me. 3 out of every 5 pop ups I get spammed with tend to have attached viruses, so the whole lack of pop up things on a quiz site is like... dream come true. Which is probably why there are so many under the cut.
( I was tempted to not cut this just cause, but I'm nice )
Aaaaand I think that's more than enough for now.
I took the most accurate villain personality test
created by: The Arch Villainess Gracie
I think that's the same one I got last time I did a similar quiz. I agreed with it then, too.
:: how nintendo are you? ::
Coolies. Always liked that game.
In other news, yes, am still alive (in a manner of speaking). Have been sucked into the abyss that is End of Semester Hell and probably won't be posting/commenting much these next few weeks. Just an FYI.
Beyond the present, however, I haven't done a damn thing all day. Behold! My nonexistent life!
Eh, I've heard that lives are over rated anyway. :)
( so instead, I spam you with quizzes )
The Great LiveJournal
During the outage I watched illegally downloaded porn.
Brought to you by geek-foo
I think we *talked* about porn, but I don't think we watched any. Had we all been together in a hotel room or something, however, *then* we most defiantly would have watched something pornish. :D
I AM 61% INTERNET ADDICT!
I am pretty addicted, but there is hope. I think I'm just well connected to the internet and technology, but it's really a start of a drug-like addiction. I must act now! Unplug this computer!
So. Very. True. VIVA LA GEEKDOM!
Okay, will shut up now.
::pouts on the lack of comments on this post::
No one wants cards from me? I feel so unloved. :(
The comments are screened, ya know... so it's not like you'll be posting your address for the whole world to see, just the hackers. And, ya know, I doubt if they really have much intrest in my personal life as I never post any information they could use to identy-theft me. (though I doubt it would be really worth it to steal my identy seeing as I am a poor college student and have very little money and only one credit card that I never use that only has a 200 dollar limit)
On a totally different note, ( lightsaber color quiz )
Wheee! I'm a purple lightsaber!
(it's early and I'm in a weird mood... And all I've eaten so far today is three sour gummi worms
Also, I need another tie breaker for the two icons I posted about beginning of this week... So, someone who hasn't taken that particular icon meme, go here and break the 3-way tie between Miss Parker and River, if you wouldn't mind? :)
That said, I give you more spam! And no, not of the canned meat variety... I figure you all would find a boat load of quizzes more to your tastes. :)
( come on, you know you wanna click me )
I'm so ashamed... :)
Lol! And this is what I got after re-taking it and guessing something else on all the answers I didn't know... go me!
40.476190476190474% of me is a huge nerd! How about you?
But *damn* if that isn't a hard geek-test... wow, my brain hurts.
( cut so as to not clutter friends pages )
So. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. We're headed up to Ripion for dinner with my mom's parents. Mmmmm, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole. And hopefully lots of pie. :D
Speaking of pie, my mother and I are gonna probably end up making a few most of the night again since she doesn't get home until like 8 and there ain't no way I'm gonna start cooking before she gets here. Too lazy, and though I can cook pretty damn well when I have a recipe to follow, I don't feel like digging out all the ingredients and clearing off a space on the table which is once again cluttered with all sorts of stuff thanks to my dad. Ugh, sometimes I really really wish my parents weren't such pack rats. And I often wish my father wasn't such a procrastinator when it comes to paying bills and such, cause they end up spread all over the table in a disorganized mess and then he's all panicky when he can't find them at the end of the month. ::sighs::
Heading out, or at least we're going to try to, around 9 tomorrow morning, so I get to sleep in at least a little. But, chances are I won't be home all day tomorrow. Which means that I'm gonna fall even further behind on my friends page. As of the moment, I'm still on Sunday or Monday I think. Heh. I will, however, more then likely be online tonight for as long as we're up cooking stuff, so if you don't mind me scampering off to go beat, grease, or mix something, invite me to chat! I misses my friendses and being able to get into the nightly "God, that is so WRONG!" AIM chats. ::snuggles you all::
That said I ... um... Well, I dunno what I'm gonna go do. But I assure you, it will be something! :)
I did it in 59 seconds.
I deserved a D!!
Take the How Dexterous Are You? Quiz!!
Heh... Yeah, well so far it appears that I've done a whole lot better then everyone else! :D
In other news, the time of the year has come when every other day (at least) Maren will probably be complaining about the lovely Wisconsin weather. So, I have decided that for every week, I shall post my own little twist on the Jeff Foxworthy "You might be a redneck if..." jokes that were big a few years back. In my turn, it shall be "You know you live in Wisconsin when..." Now these are just silly little thingies I came up with last night or one or two I had already proclaimed several times.
So, with no further adieu...
You know you live in Wisconsin when...
When it comes to small towns, "Unincorporated" means two churches, two bars, and a bunch of religious drunks whose's lives revolve around them.
And YES!!! I just discovered paid users now get 15 icons! ::hurries to go upload more::
And why do I spam my lj with lotsa quizzes? Cause I have nothing better to write about. YAY quizzes!
And I is gonna go watch City Slickers 2 now
Anyhoo, today was rather boring. For once I have no homework to work on (at least none that is due until Monday... Psh, like I would actually consider getting my homework done early... :) ), so I spent my time between classes rereading Green Rider today... Wow, haven't been able to do that at school for awhile. :) YAY Green Rider! Only once I finish it, I'm gonna wish I had the second book to read but won't be able to get it for another few months cause it's still in hardcover... ::sighs:: But, still, YAY Greenie!
Had work 4 until 6:30 again... Had to fish (well, kinda) a kid outta the deep end in the small pool twice because he couldn't swim very well and insisted on trying to get two toys from the bottom of the pool over there... Ugh, I hate stupid kids. But, once Kids Klub and Homework Club got out at around 4:45-ish, it got pretty dead. So, Erik and I preformed a scientific experiment... He had dropped his whistle in the deep end of the big pool (asked some kid to fish it out for him cause he didn't wanna get in the water), and after a little discussion about the aerodynamics of a whistle, wanted to see if my plastic-whistle with plastic-cord floated or sunk like his metal whistle-whistle with cotton-cord. He didn't think it would float, I thought it would... so I dropped my whistle in the pool (the shallow end, this time) so see who's theory was right. Turns out mine was... I love being right... :D Yes, we are that lame... dude, it was frelling dead in there! We had to amuse ourselves somehow... :) We then thought about seeing how far they (the whistles) would go if we flung them across the pool... but, didn't test any theories in that area for fear that our boss might see. So, we contented ourselves with complaining about the warmer then normal atmosphere down on deck and talking about stuff... very little of which I remember. I think my brain shut off halfway through Geo lab again, so yeah.
And, because I've run outta stuff to say, I spam LJ with a quiz:
Which deadly sin do you represent? (Angel Sanctuary Pics)
brought to you by Quizilla
Damn... I was hopeing for Sloth or Lust (spacifically lust at the moment, cause yeah... it's that time of the month...) Ah, well... YAY purple!
Anyhoo, today went well. Only had two classes and afterwards had lunch with Gramma. We then headed over to visit a little with Mae and Verna, a few of the sweet old ladies from our church. Mae has trouble walking now, and Verna is in the nursing home, so I hadn't seen them in years. So, it was nice.
( Shitload of quizzes... and I'm not kidding when I say 'shitload.' )
I also now have a university e-mail address, for those of you who care:
If that doesn't work, take off the MSF. If that still doesn't work, well... I have't yet been able to access it, though not for the lack of trying, so I dunno what's wrong. I think I might need a newer model computer or something, cause even after downloading and installing Internet Explorer 6, I still haven't been able to get in from this computer. Will try from the UW next week and hopefully be able to get in.
And now I am off to bed. Again, sorry for bailing on ya'll in chat.
